The CiRA Foundation®, Center for iPS Cell Research and Application, Kyoto University, Kyoto University Hospital and Rinku General Medical Center have been working to promote research on COVID-19.

We have started accepting applications for the free provision of induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells made from the blood samples of COVID-19 convalescent patients on March 25, 2021. The establishment of iPS cells from three patients has already begun.
