P.S. i LOVE YOU PROJECT

Our goal is to cure diseases caused by knee cartilage damage, which is why we are doing research and development of iPS cells.

It is believed that once cartilage is damaged, it cannot be cured.

And many patients suffer from cartilage wear and tear, making this a common condition.

As a solution, we are looking at producing cartilage made from iPS cells.

By producing cartilage that behaves like natural cartilage in the body, we expect to treat these patients.

However, right now, it remains difficult to produce iPS cell products that are stable and safe.

At Asahi Kasei, we are working together to solve this problem.

Our team includes people with experience in the development of pharmaceuticals and medical devices and in regenerative medicine. With our expertise, we are conducting research to overcome manufacturing issues such as stability and aseptic processing, as well as post-transplantation issues such as safety and efficacy.

Our goal is to deliver safe and effective iPS cartilage to patients as soon as possible, providing a new treatment for patients that have none.
