We operate as a public interest incorporated foundation, not as a stock company. We do not "sell" iPS cells, but provide them to non-profit institutions free of charge and to for-profit institutions at a low price as a "joint research fee."
Please note that we cannot provide cells for purchase only, only for collaborative research.
Please also note that the initial cost of the iPS cells is 50,000 yen for research-grade and 100,000 yen for clinical-grade, but partners are required to pay 50 million yen at the time of approval as an ownership transfer fee. (This cost is half for ventures and is a one-time payment for partners.) An information maintenance fee will also be charged. (0.5% of worldwide sales for 20 years from the year following approval.)For more information, please check here.
For the price, please check the link here. -
